Job Purpose:

Support and collaborate with business units to generate the most robust unit forecast and best view of customer demand, communicating requirements through consolidated forecast and resolution of demand and supply mismatches.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Work closely with your assigned Business Units and Commercial, Operations and Finance teams to ensure the forecast is robust and contains the most up-to-date business intelligence, in line with the business 3-month supply lead time.
  2. Prepare for, organise, and chair the Detail Forecast Review meetings and higher-level Review and Sign-off meetings with your assigned business units, Commercial and Finance teams, in-line with the month Demand Process cycle timings.
  3. Analyse the forecast and identify risks and opportunities within your Business Units, make challenges and propose changes to the forecast where the forecast is not aligned to, for example, performance, strategy, business intelligence and where there are anomalies. Escalate issues within the business and through the S&OP process
  4. Update and distribute KPI reports for Supply Chain and Business Units. Identify root causes for demand errors and support business units to address them. Assess error impact and perform recalculation and continuous improvement techniques where needed, and actively work to improve KPIs, ultimately to industry leading standards.
  5. Seek out and understand market strategy and ensure this is reflected in the local plans.
  6. Plan phase in and phase out of new or changed products to ensure product is available at the correct time while minimising excess inventory.
  7. Support collaboration between Demand, Supply, Commercial, Finance, NPI and other business teams, promote Demand Planning awareness and actively promote business education for Demand and Supply Chain best practices, processes, and tasks.
  8. Provide ad hoc analysis, reports and updates to the business as required for Sales, Demand, KPIs and Inventory.
  9. Assist, where necessary, in Demand Projects that may arise.
