Our UK business has just been recognised as a Great Place To Work ® We are now recruiting for an Interim Assistant Financial Accountant, on a 12 month FTC basis, to join our alliance of people, brands and partners working together, as one team, to achieve more for patients, healthcare providers, business partners and investors.
As our Interim Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for key areas of monthly reporting, balance sheet control and general finance processes, supporting other areas of Group Finance as required. Your responsibility will be to pro-actively ensure that balances, underlying transactions and processes are compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards, audit requirements, and Group accounting policies.
You will be AAT qualified and have a proven post-qualification background, ideally in an international corporate organisation. Naturally, you will be highly numerate, along with being proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Vlookups, pivot tables, data manipulation and presentation. Your background will be in delivering month-end reporting with a strict timetable, meaning your prioritisation and time management is second to none. Your role as Interim Assistant Financial Accountant will involve working with our new ERP, and other systems, so a working knowledge of Microsoft D365, Sage and/or Syspro would be a real advantage but not essential. You will have opportunity to work with colleagues across multiple locations, cultures, and departments and will need to be confident in building and maintaining working relationships with key members of non-finance teams. You will be self-motivated and driven to deliver continuous improvement, delivering solutions rather than raising issues.
As Interim Assistant Financial Accountant you will have a sound understanding of financial control best practices and preparation of schedules to audit standard. Your technical understanding of the interaction between the balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements with be demonstrable and you will be able to apply an appropriate level of professional scepticism and self-review in advance of audit questions.
