As the Commercial Strategy and Operations Manager, your job purpose is to
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration for pharmaceutical and healthcare products across e-commerce platforms (marketplaces, online pharmacies) and pharmacy channels (pharmacies, purchasing groups, wholesalers, hospitals) and
- Manage commercial strategy, key account relationships, B&M and on-line sales performance while ensuring compliance with French and EU pharmaceutical regulations.
What you’ll be doing as the Commercial Strategy and Operations Manager
- Manage relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, purchasing groups, distributors, and ecommerce partners for our Consumer Health Care (CHC) and Pharma portfolio.
- Define and execute a clear CHC portfolio channel strategy, aligned with brand and global priorities
- Identify and prioritize key customer targets to drive growth in sales and profitability
Lead commercial initiatives across pharmacy groups and e-commerce platforms (Amazon, online pharmacies, etc.) - Maximize performance across the current French CHC portfolio by managing sales, margin, ROI, and budgets
- Lead pricing strategy, including price increase processes, to protect margins and support revenue goals
- Monitor stock and shelf-life issues with Sales & Operational teams; proactively manage supply and inventory risks
- Align closely with marketing teams for forecasting, promotional planning, and product prioritization
- Support onboarding and management of new clients and partners (contracts, pricing, credit, etc.)
- Contribute to and assess new project evaluations (product launches, commercial partnerships, salesforce support, promotion strategies etc.)
- Collaborate on the creation of tailored commercial and marketing tools per customer segment
- Track market, competitor, and regulatory trends to anticipate risks and opportunities
What we are looking for in our Commercial Strategy and Operations Manager, someone who has / is
- A postgraduate diploma or degree in business (e.g., sales & marketing, management).
- A proven track record in a commercial healthcare environment, particularly in:
- Over The Counter (OTC), Consumer Healthcare, dermo-cosmetics, vitamins, supplements, or medical devices
- Key Account Management across pharmacy, Para pharmacy and e-commerce channels, pharmacy buying groups and virtual pharmacy chains
- Experience managing digital and online sales platforms such as Amazon, e-pharmacies, or broader e-commerce ecosystems
- A solid understanding of French healthcare and regulatory frameworks relevant to OTC and consumer health products
- Experience in go-to-market strategy design, market segmentation, and channel prioritization
- Demonstrates success in business planning, sales forecasting, and performance optimization
- Strong capability to work across cross-functional teams (marketing, medical, regulatory, supply) to execute on commercial plans
- Prior experience in scaling commercial operations within a growth-oriented or entrepreneurial organization is a strong plus
- Strategic, results-oriented professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for commercial excellence.
- Effective negotiator and influencer, with strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Commercially astute, with the ability to maximize ROI through structured business planning and partner engagement
- Adaptable, solution-oriented, and data-driven, natural problem solver, independent and driven, with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Strategic thinker, capable of building and optimizing commercial models (customer segmentation, channel strategy, distribution models, Go to market models)
- Proactive and hands-on, with a sharp focus on driving commercial performance and operational efficiency
- Collaborative team player, well-suited to small, cross-functional & multicultural structures
- Fluent in French and professionally proficient in English
