As the Global Procurement Analyst your job purpose will be to:
- Support the procurement function with data input and analytics
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly reporting to the procurement and supply chain community.
- Engage with finance to co-ordinate inputs key business processes EG) budgeting
What you’ll be doing
- Support input data required for Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) procurement, covering tendering, benchmarking, selection & onboarding processes.
- Maintain a database of incumbent CMO profiles including all relevant capabilities.
- Maintain a database of CMO contracts, prices, cost savings projects and Contract/CMO/commodity spend trends.
- Research relevant intelligence to support timely re/negotiation of Contract Manufacturing Agreements.
- Support the development of network procurement strategies by researching relevant risks & opportunities.
- Manage information requests from CMO’s e.g. Master Data Requirements, Risk (Know Your Supply and Business Continuity Plans) follow-ups.
- Assist in optimizing procurement processes and procedures to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support data acquisition for annual supplier reviews to meet sustainability goals
- Lead or contribute to relevant ad-hoc Procurement projects as appropriate.
What we are looking for
- A degree or equivalent ideally in supply chain, business, science or technical, to include data analysis & trend reporting.
- A robust Microsoft Excel skillset, including V-Look ups, Pivots and ideally Macros.
- Experience in building reports & presentations on PowerPoint.
- Experience in data gathering and extraction from a variety of sources, data analysis and trend reporting and forecasting.
- An understanding of core Procurement process disciplines e.g. supplier and category management, negotiation, influencing and project & change management.
- Project Management experience would be desirable.
