🚀 Interim Senior Tax Manager – 9-Month Maternity Cover | Hybrid (Chippenham, UK)

Contract: 9-month fixed term (maternity cover) | Hybrid - 2 days onsite

Are you a tax expert ready to make an immediate impact in a fast-moving, PE-backed global business? Alliance is looking for an Interim Senior Tax Manager to join our Global Finance team, providing maternity cover and driving all things tax across our international operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Take the reins on global tax compliance and advisory matters.
  • Support the Head of Tax on strategic planning and transactions.
  • Oversee payroll in multiple territories and lead a team of two payroll & indirect tax professionals.
  • Ensure UK GAAP & IFRS tax reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Maintain and operate the transfer pricing strategy, including cash repatriation.
  • Assist with acquisitions, divestments, financing optimisation, and potential exit planning.
  • Manage relationships with global tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Support Indirect Tax, Extended Producer Responsibility, UK Plastics Tax compliance, and employment tax matters.

What we’re looking for:

  • CTA qualified with strong Big 4 post-qualified experience.
  • In-house tax expertise across corporate, employment, and transfer pricing.
  • Indirect tax and payroll experience is a plus.
  • Availability to start in January 2026 and commit to the full 9-month term.
