As the Regional Business Co-ordinator your job purpose is to
- Provide support to the marketing and commercial team and the EMEA distributor business both internally and externally.
What you’ll be doing as a Regional Business Co-ordinator
Ensure commercial support to the team & distributors
- Maintain, develop and analyse internal dashboards: pricing grid, customer database, sell out and stock. Report KPIs to Commercial team and raise any issues
- Debt Collection. Work with Commercial team & Credit Control to maintain a healthy cash position by managing payment of invoices, arranging cash collection reminders, ensuring processes are in place for all customers and providing KPI review and improvement trends to Head of ICLAM
- Lead cross regional analysis to understand the in-market pricing and create analysis for the Commercial team to improve our route to market and pricing strategy for our products versus competitors. This includes ex-factory pricing, as well as in market price consolidation, e-commerce benchmark and analysis, etc.
- Support contract maintenance with the commercial team by monitoring of the contract database and raising potential issues or discrepancies to be fixed in the short, medium and long term.
- Work in collaboration with Commercial Managers to support on required plan.
- Plan, organize and coordinate the samples plan & shipment along with Commercial team and Customer Service to ensure combining quantities and target the best opportunities while ensuring a correct financial and supply forecast is built.
- Participate in the reinforcement of alignment of processes on pricelists or any other documentation issued to our distributors.
- Support the commercial team in the analysis of route to market in different countries by compiling the estimate regulatory burden in key markets.
- Ensure commercial administrative support to selected specific distributors around credit note management, complaints, sending POS materials, free units plan, etc.
- Participate in the elaboration ad hoc requests for management, presentations and analysis
- Forecast collection with distributors and update related dashboards to provide visibility to Regional Business Managers
Support our marketing activities and processes towards Distributors and the team
- Support and align with local and global marketing to ensure flawless marketing support is provided to local distributors throughout the lifecycle of the products (make sure partners have updated marketing materials and access to Extranet)
- Gain local market intelligence via desk research and consolidate to share with marketing and the Regional Business Managers
Support the organization of key international events
- Organise and ensure overall success of key events such as congresses, conferences, meetings etc
- Plan and supervise logistics, documentation and specific arrangements, support the marketing & commercial team and the distributors in the context of the event, etc
What we are looking for
- Degree or equivalent in International Business, Marketing, Sales Administration, Commercial or similar business qualification
- Some experience in similar commercial and marketing role for a global business
- Experience in OTC, Pharma or Medical Device would be an advantage
- Good communication skills with the ability to converse fluently in English and French, as well as Spanish would be highly desirable
- Self-starter, strong problem-solving skills and customer oriented. “Can do attitude”
- Ability to build strong relationships with critical stakeholders in distant geographies.
- Appreciation, understanding and awareness of international cultural differences and business practices.
- Professional, curious and positive attitude.
- Good listening skills – quick to identify customer needs
- Articulate and strong skills in reporting as well as KPI’s and continuous improvement
- A methodical and logical approach
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel across EMEA and LATAM
