Senior Medical Affairs Associate (known internally as a Senior Medical Scientist)

At Alliance, we’re looking for a confident, forward thinking Senior Medical Scientist to join our Medical Information team part of the Global Innovation & Scientific Affairs function. The Senior Medical Scientist supports the development and communication of medical and scientific marketing content across the Alliance global portfolio of products., and reports into the Medical Manager.
What you will be accountable for as our Senior Medical Affairs Associate
- Develop and review scientific materials including claims substantiation documents, training materials, and medical information responses.
- Translate complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and consumer-friendly language for use in marketing and communications.
- Support the creation of evidence-based messaging for product packaging, advertising, and digital platforms.
- Participate in the review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials and activities for medical accuracy and regulatory compliance and alignment with internal policies for relevant jurisdictions.
- Support the design and execution of clinical studies, consumer research, and Real-World Evidence projects.
- Maintain an appropriate level of current technical expertise relevant to products, company policies, regional legislation, regulation, guidance codes of practice.
What we’re looking for
- A life sciences degree with extensive career experience within a Consumer healthcare, FMCG or pharmaceutical organisation within the medical information, regulatory or marketing team.
- Strong scientific communication skills so you can explain complex data clearly and confidently
- Strong experience of regulations, governance and medical accuracy
- An analytical, evidence-based mindset with attention to detail
- A collaborative, proactive communicator who can work cross functional with marketing, commercial and sales team to act as a senior medical partner.
