The Alliance Graduate Development Program is a 2-year rotational development opportunity designed for university graduates looking to build a solid foundation for launching their careers in Scientific Affairs with a leading International Healthcare business.

Our Program

The Graduate Program is offered as a permanent contract, providing rotations across our core Scientific Affairs functions, and is expected to include a rotation in one of our International Affiliates.

Working alongside a high performing team, you will gain insights into the entire Scientific Affairs function, developing your understanding through a wide variety of responsibilities and projects.

Your rotations will typically include assignments in:

  • Quality Function and Regulatory Affairs
  • Development, Technical and Product Innovation
  • Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information
  • Medical Affairs

You will also gain experience in core business functional areas such as Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance to broaden your business understanding.

The program is designed to build your technical skills but also your capabilities in leading and influencing others.  With mentoring form our leaders, we give you the skills and confidence so that at the end of the program you can successfully continue your career in the best direction with us.

The Candidate

We are looking for our next generation of talent.  Individuals with a passion for the healthcare sector who aspire to make a difference.

Candidates applying for the program at Alliance must meet the following requirements:

  • Have graduated with honours, or expect to Graduate in 2024, in a Life Sciences Degree (or related discipline).
  • Career motivated, with a passion for learning and self-development.
  • Drive for results, proactive with a commitment to excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgement.
  • Adaptable and curious.
  • Strong communication skills and eager to work collaboratively.
  • Able to work 5 days per week with a min 3 days per week from our Head Offices in Chippenham.
  • Right to work in the UK with fluent written and spoken English.

The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary and benefits package including performance related bonus, pension, healthcare + 25 days holiday.

We will review your application and if we think you’re a good fit, we’ll be in touch within the next few weeks to find out more about you. If successfully shortlisted, you will then be invited to meet the team and take part in a half-day Assessment Centre at our Head Offices March. This will include an interview, presentation and role-based exercise along with some psychometric assessments.
